D33: Condemned Hope

In Black & White, Uncategorized on February 2, 2010 by Eric Kunimura

I noticed this interesting condemned church a few months ago. It sits at one end of an enormous dirt lot in the middle of an industrial area. There’s an adjoining parking lot next to it with no access to the public street.

I love old buildings like this and often wonder about the history of the building. What events took place while it was in use? What was it like in it’s prime and who may have lived, worked, gathered, or even worshiped there? I’m sure there are grand stories to be told.

What will people say about you and your photography? Will your photography make an impact and change lives?
